Alarm systems
There will be an intruder alarm system to suit all properties and budgets. Some systems are available in kit form where a manufacturer has packaged a consol with set number of detection and sounder devices. Others are modular where the system designer can select devices to suit a bespoke situation. Modular systems generally offer increased functionality and may require programming after installation.

Maintenance and service
Once a security system has been fitted it should be tested and maintained to ensure that all the components of the are functioning as intended. Replacing bulbs in security lighting and replacing backup batteries in alarm systems are routine tasks that are often neglected.
